IMS Noida Organized Industry Interaction Program for BBA Students



Industry Interaction Program for all the sessions of BBA was organized today in the campus, at Institute of Management Studies, IMS Noida.
Program started with lightning of lamp by all dignitaries & Chief Guest Mr. C.R. Tulsian a Mechanical Engineer From IIT Kharagpur , having 40 years of experience in  International Management and a consultant in various packaging industries.
 Advisor, IMS, Noida Mr. Alok Agrawal presented Good luck plant to Mr. C. R. Tulsian, who was welcomed by Ms. Parul Puri faculty, IMS Noida
Advisor, IMS, Noida Mr. Alok Agrawal briefed about achievements & development plans of  IMS, Noida. After this, Mr. C.R. Tulsian addressed students with his motivational words and shared his profound splendid and rich experience. Students enjoyed and learnt a lot from vibrant and thought provoking speech of Mr. Tulsian which was all about management. One of the students named Mr. Priyank Bhardhwaj was appreciated by the Chief Guest for the eager & active participation during the session.
Executive Director, IMS Noida Dr. A.K.Srivastava moved the program forward with his inspirational and motivational words to the students to make them dedicated and sincere in their lives. He also presented memento to Chief Guest Mr. C. R. Tulsian.
Lively experience of academics and extra- curricular activities was shared by Aastha, Student BBA III Semester with new students.
In second half of the program Ms. Shalini Mishra, HOD, BBA presented academic plan for session 2012-15. Students & parents participated enthusiastically in management Quiz & Balloon game which was the main attraction of second half of the program. Winners Aanchal Singh & Vijay were given different awards also.
Program was successfully concluded with great hopes and Vote of Thanks by Ms. Keenika faculty, IMS Noida.

IMS Noida holds F.D.P “Faculty Development Training”




Institute ofManagement Studies, IMS Noida organized 2 day Faculty Development Training in the campus.
Around 50 Faculty members from various institutes across Delhi NCR have participated in the Training session. The Inaugural Ceremony of the FDP was started by welcoming all the dignitaries.
Prof. S. K Kak, Vice Chancellor, MTU was the chief guest of the session along with Mr R. K Agrawal from JNU.
The ceremony began by lamp lighting by the chief guest.

Prof Kak discussed that earlier systems available were not so powerful in terms of Memory, Word Length and Computational Power but today machines with these features are available. The Kind of compression and throughput today is something that one desires few decades back.
He told about learning process also, that if it is done in right proportion at right time and in right sequence, learning will be a pleasure.
For FDP’s he said these programes not only develop teachers but it tries to explore together to make better understanding of enormous technologies available.
The event was preceded by the technical session by Mr R K Agrawal from JNU. He started by giving introduction of Neural Network and its applications.
The event was coordinated by Dr Sunayna Jain.

IMS Noida Organized Kite Festival

On the occasion of 65th Independence Day Institute of ManagementStudies, IMS Noida has organized 2 Day Function in the campus.
Day one was celebrated as Kite Festival. The main attraction of the event was 6 feet kite which was made by college students. They also wrote messages on it.
Messages like “East or West India is the best, I love my India, India Rocks,  East or West, India is the Best Proud to be Indian, Jai Bharat, Love You Indian Rocks, Jai Hind Jai Bharat”
Theses messages will be played full day on Salam Namastey 90.4 on 15 August.
On the second day of the event Two rock Bands Aastitva and Jashn will play there composed song in Salam Namastey 90.4. Aastitva Band will play the “Delhi Theme Song” approved by Smt Shiela Dixit and “Hindustan Meri  Jaan” by Jashn Band.
Director Dr A K Shrivastav also celebrated Kite festival with students and wish them Happy Independence day in advance. He said each and every body should feel proud to be an Indian.

Salam Namastey celebrated Independence Day with ‘Delhi Anthem’

Second Day of the Independence Day celebration in Institute of Management Studies, IMS Noida begun with the singing performance by Two Delhi famous Bands.
Astitva  and Jashn Visited IMS Community Radio Station Salam Namastey 90.4 today for an interview with Station Head Barsha Chabaria Khatri.

A group of 5 DU students created “Astitva band” 5 years back and today on the eve of Independence Day they presented “Delhi Anthem” which was prepared at the time of Commonwealth Games and was selected by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit this year.
Delhi Anthem song “ Salamat rahe, tu roshan rahe, hai sabki dua delhi” was appreciated by all. The Lead vocalist of the band Salman Khan also sung Save the Girl Child Anthem -''Jeeno Do"

After that Jashn Band dedicated a song to the nation “Hindustan meri jaan”
