IMS Noida holds “2nd International HR Conference”

Institute ofManagement Studies (IMS) Noida, organized two day 2nd International HR conference on “Exploring Non Linear growth through Hr driven Strategies” in Gail Auditorium. Around two hundred delegates from various corporate and universities like IIT Rorkee, AMU, Calcata University, DU University, IGNOU have participated in the seminar.
The chief guest of the occasion was Mr P K Gupta ED HR Gail with Dr Y V Verma COO LG Electronics along with President IMS Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Academic Advisor Dr Trikha, Advisor Alok Agrawal , Director Dr A K Shrivastav and HOD Management Dr Agarwal.
Event started with lamp lighting and saraswati vandana.
Gail ED HR P K Gupta said that HR is the backbone of any organization. Success and failure of any organization depend on the relation between HR and the employee. Further he elaborated the Manesar Maruti Case for explanation. He also said sincerity and Team work are the key factor required in HR.
After that COO LG Electronics told that today economy and trade are changing rapidly. He suggests that before opening any new branch in any other country the organization should first do the detail study of that area to understand the costumers need.
Dr Jodie Lynn Ferise, Professor Indianapolis University USA said that HR should add Social media tool like Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter in HR functioning. She said Innovation, Differentiation and competitive advantage are some of the major role of HR.
IMS President Rajeev Kumar Gupta told that IMS will organize an International Conference on Marketing in the month of September next year. At the end of the First day of the conference a book which is a compilation of all the research papers was released by the guest and the President Rajiv Kumar Gupta.

IMS Noida organized Blood Donation Camp

Institute of Management Studies,Noida in collaboration with Rotary Blood Bank Delhi organized Blood Donation camp in the Campus.
Around 150 students and 50 faculty members have participated in the camp. IMS Executive Director Dr A K Shrivastav has also donated blood and said that every year IMS organized Blood Donation camp to motivate students to donate blood and understand the responsibility towards society.

Dr Ashish Kumar from Rotary Club told that awareness can motivate people toward blood donation. He said the participation of students in this camp was commendable.
At the beginning of the camp Dr Ashish told students that anybody between the age group of 18-65 can donate blood. Every donor should take some precautions after blood donation. Heavy exercises and smoking should be avoided just after blood donation.

The camp was coordinated by Govind Prasad Goyal faculty IMS Noida.

IMS students get 12 Lakh Bumper Package



Instituteof Management Studies (IMS) Noida’s student got flourishing opportunities with the placement by 120 companies.

Two student of PGDM 2010-12 Batch got International placement and has been selected by “MFI Solutions” an Africa Base company as Executive Sales with the package of 12 lakh per annum.
Students have been selected through 2 rounds including HR and personal interview for the post. The Posting of the students is Uganda in Africa.

Last year Niyamit Gautam student of PGDM got the highest package of 16 Lakh and got an international placement by World Window Group.

This year, three of IMS student (Anamika Verma, Aiman Anwar, and shailandar pratap) have been recruited with Oriented Bank of Commerce as marketing officers for 3.5 lakh rupee per annum. A recruitment committee of six people recruited the IMS student.
     Romana Sayyed who has been selected for Capital IQ, is getting for 4.5 lakh rupee in hand, the maximum salary given to an individual. Nakhil was placed in 99acres.com for a package of 4.55 lakh rupee per annum. ICICI Securities selected five student (Prachi Kashyap, Ashish Gupta, Ramakant, Aditya Prakash and Vimal Kumar) form IMS. HDFC Bank recruited three students (Rohit Prakash, Sagar Sethi and Pratik Raj) and HCL selected another three students Priyanka, Vishal and Anshu Shrivastav.
     Seven more students Vivekanand, Brijesh Bhatt, Napikar Guha, Bhargav Nag, Nitin Gupta, Aman and Rohit Parmer were given offer letters by Ceasefire Industries.
      The other companies to recruit more IMS student were KPMG, Baiaji Telefilms, Audi Indian, Hero Group, Bikanerwala, Oxford University and Green Playwood on a good annual package.
       A part from the final year students, IMS first year students were also selected for summer internships by companies like Britannia Limited, Eli Lilly, Timesjobes.com, Philips, Indian Oil, HDFC, JK White Cement etc. During the training, these students will be paid a stipend of maximum Rs 5,000 per month.

         Counsellor of IMS, Alok Agrawal said that these companies have selected IMS as one of the preferred institutes to hire more students in future. He further said that will know companies like VIP, Jack Infotech, Care Ratings, Oberoi Group of Hotel, Leela palace, Ansal API, Asian Paints, Sonalika Tractors, Price water house Coopers India, and many more had come to IMS to recrit the student.
