“Salam Namastey” won 9th Asia Pacific “The Manthan Award”2012


Instituteof Management Studies, Noida’s Community Radio Station Salam Namastey 90.4 radio won 9th Asia Pacific “The Manthan Award”2012 in the category of Community Broadcast.
Salaam Namaste Community Radio Station bagged the award for their unique and innovative programme for SENIOR CITIZENS –“Second Innings Ko Salaam”.
9th Manthan Award 2012 was to recognize the best practices in e-Content and Creativity.
16 categories were awarded which were e-Business & Enterprise, Community Broadcasting, e-Culture & Heritage e-Education & Learning, e-Environment, e-Agriculture, e-Financial Inclusion & Livelihood, e-Health, e-Governance, e-Inclusion, e-Infrastructure, e-Localisation, e-News & Media, e-Entertainment & Games, e-Travel & Tourism, e-Science & Technology.
 For Community Broadcasting, 29 out of 36 countries were successful nominees. Radio Salaam Namaste –A Unit Of IMS Noida bagged the award for their unique and innovative programme for SENIOR CITIZENS –“Second Innings Ko Salaam”–Life Ki Doosri Pehchaan. 
Station head of Salaam Namaste Radio Station, Barsha Chabaria received the Award by honorable Foreign Minister –Sri Salman Khurshid who graced the occasion and congratulated all the winners.
Over whelmed and exhilarated by winning the award, Station head Barsha Chabaria shared that Awards and Recognitions infuse more confidence in you to strengthen your innovation and social creativity .Manthan Award was one such confidence booster.
