“Salam Namastey” won 9th Asia Pacific “The Manthan Award”2012

Instituteof Management Studies, Noida’s Community Radio Station Salam Namastey 90.4 radio won 9^th Asia Pacific “The Manthan Award”2012 in the category of Community Broadcast.

Salaam Namaste Community Radio Station bagged the award for their unique and innovative programme for SENIOR CITIZENS –“Second Innings Ko Salaam”.

9^th Manthan Award 2012 was to recognize the best practices in e-Content and Creativity.

16 categories were awarded which were e-Business & Enterprise, Community Broadcasting, e-Culture & Heritage e-Education & Learning, e-Environment, e-Agriculture, e-Financial Inclusion & Livelihood, e-Health, e-Governance, e-Inclusion, e-Infrastructure, e-Localisation, e-News & Media, e-Entertainment & Games, e-Travel & Tourism, e-Science & Technology.

 For Community Broadcasting, 29 out of 36 countries were successful nominees. Radio Salaam Namaste –A Unit Of IMS Noida bagged the award for their unique and innovative programme for SENIOR CITIZENS –“Second Innings Ko Salaam”–Life Ki Doosri Pehchaan. 

Station head of Salaam Namaste Radio Station, Barsha Chabaria received the Award by honorable Foreign Minister –Sri Salman Khurshid who graced the occasion and congratulated all the winners.

Over whelmed and exhilarated by winning the award, Station head Barsha Chabaria shared that Awards and Recognitions infuse more confidence in you to strengthen your innovation and social creativity .Manthan Award was one such confidence booster.

सलाम नमस्ते “मंथन अवार्ड 2012” से सम्मानित

इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज (आइएमएस) नोएडा के कम्युनिटी रेडियो सलामनमस्ते 90.4  को “मंथन अवार्ड 2012” से नवाजा गाया। सलाम नमस्ते को यह अवार्ड सिनीयर सिटिजन पर आधारित कार्यक्रम “सेकेंड इनिंग को सलाम” के लिए “कम्युनिटी ब्रॉडकास्ट कैटेगरी” मे दिया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन इंडिया हैविटेट सेंटर नई दिल्ली में हुआ। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन भारत सरकार की उपक्रम डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ आई.टी ने किया था, जिसमें साउथ एशिया और एशिया पैस्पिक रिजन के 36 देशों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथी माननीय विदेश मंत्री सलमान खुर्शिद ने शिरकत की।

मंथन अवार्ड में कम्युनिटी ब्रॉडकास्ट कैटेगरी के लिए 29 देशों के प्रतिभागियो ने नॉमिनेशन किया था, जिसमें भारत के 24 प्रतिभागी भी शामिल थे, इस कार्यक्रम में अंतिम प्रक्रिया के बाद सलाम नमस्ते को यह पुरस्कार दिया गया।

 उल्लेखनीय है कि मंथन अवार्ड में 16 कैटेगरी के लिए नामांकन किए जाते है, जिसमें ई-विजनस, ई-एग्रीकल्चर, ई-फाइनेंस, ई-हेल्थ, ई-गवर्नेंस, न्यूज, मीडिया, इंटरटेनमेंट, गेम, ट्रेवल और टुरिज्म, साइंस और टेक्नालॉजी आदि हैं।

सलाम नमस्ते की ओर से यह पुरस्कार स्टेशन हेड वर्षा छबारिया ने लिया। उन्होंने बताया कि  कोई भी सम्मान या पुरस्कार हमारी लगन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए होता है। मंथम अवार्ड मिलने के बाद सलाम नमस्ते की टीम, समाज कल्यान के प्रति और भी जागरूक कार्यक्रम करेगा। कार्यक्रम “सेकेंड इनिंग को सलाम” के बारे में उन्होने बताया कि यह कार्यक्रम समाज के सभी बुजुर्ग लोगों को समर्पित है, कार्यक्रम की एक रिसर्च से पता चला है कि बीते वर्षों में नोएडा गाजियाबाद में ओल्ड एज होम की संख्या में इजाफा हुआ है, साथ ही बुजुर्ग लोगों में खुद को व्यस्त रखने की चाहत अधिक होती हैं। सलाम नमस्ते ने इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से बुजुर्ग लोगों को एक नयी पहचान देने की कोशिश की गई है।

सलाम नमस्ते की आर.जे साक्षी कंसल ने बताया कि सप्ताह के अंत प्रसारित होने वाला यह कार्यक्रम सीनियर सिटिजन द्वारा पेश किया जाता है। आज इस कार्यक्रम के साथ 50 से अधिक बुजुर्ग सीनियर आर.जे बन चुके हैं।  इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से सीनियर सिटिजन, लोगों को चुस्त, दुरुस्त और तंदुरुस्त रहने का हुनर सिखाते हैं।

आइएमएस के प्रेसिडेंट राजीव गुप्ता ने बताया कि मंथन अवार्ड 2012, सलाम नमस्ते द्वारा किए गए सामाजिक कार्यों को प्रोत्साहित करता है। भविष्य में भी सलाम नमस्ते सामाजिक कार्यों से जुड़ी गतिविधियों में अग्रसर रहेगा।

इस वार मंथन अवार्ड 2012, के नॉमिनेशन में अफगानिस्तान, आस्ट्रेलिया, बंगलादेश, भुट्टान, ब्रुनेई, चीन, कंबोडिया, फिजी, हांगकांग, इंडोनेशिया, ईरान, जापान, मकाऊ, मलेशिया, मालदीप, मंगोलिया, नेपाल, नॉर्थ कोरिया, पाकिस्तान, फिलिपिंस, सिंगापुर, साउथ कोरिया, श्रीलंका, ताईवान, थाइलैंड, वियतनाम और भारत  आदि देशो ने भाग लिया।

IMS Noida holds “2nd International HR Conference”

Institute ofManagement Studies (IMS) Noida, organized two day 2^nd International HR conference on “Exploring Non Linear growth through Hr driven Strategies” in Gail Auditorium. Around two hundred delegates from various corporate and universities like IIT Rorkee, AMU, Calcata University, DU University, IGNOU have participated in the seminar.

The chief guest of the occasion was Mr P K Gupta ED HR Gail with Dr Y V Verma COO LG Electronics along with President IMS Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Academic Advisor Dr Trikha, Advisor Alok Agrawal , Director Dr A K Shrivastav and HOD Management Dr Agarwal.

Event started with lamp lighting and saraswati vandana.

Gail ED HR P K Gupta said that HR is the backbone of any organization. Success and failure of any organization depend on the relation between HR and the employee. Further he elaborated the Manesar Maruti Case for explanation. He also said sincerity and Team work are the key factor required in HR.

After that COO LG Electronics told that today economy and trade are changing rapidly. He suggests that before opening any new branch in any other country the organization should first do the detail study of that area to understand the costumers need.

Dr Jodie Lynn Ferise, Professor Indianapolis University USA said that HR should add Social media tool like Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter in HR functioning. She said Innovation, Differentiation and competitive advantage are some of the major role of HR.

IMS President Rajeev Kumar Gupta told that IMS will organize an International Conference on Marketing in the month of September next year. At the end of the First day of the conference a book which is a compilation of all the research papers was released by the guest and the President Rajiv Kumar Gupta.
